Former International Angler Percy Anderson, and one of Ivan's closest friends, has written a tribute to Ivan Marks in the form of a paperback that is packed with Stories, Anecdotes and photo's that celebrates the life and career of the the most inspirational angler I ever had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with, both in matches and pleasure sessions. Author of the tribute, Percy Anderson, originally presented a few pages to wife , Linda, after the funeral a few years ago. Percy added "It was very difficult to write about the great little man of angling. to do so comprehensively would have taken far too long, but I'm happy with what we've produced and I hope people buy it, enjoy it, and know they are supporting a good cause.'

A much improved CleverClaw from Nick Palmer at Real Ideas. Like many match anglers [tackle snobs us all!] I took one look at the 'Claw' and commented "I don't need one of those, I'm a match angler!" Wrong; I've now got one and always set it up when fishing 16m+.
Don't be put off with the 'Pole Assistant' label some may like to pin to this product. It will transform the way you fish the long pole, when fishing shallow for carp or long on a Canal this will improve your catch rate - I don't know how I fished Pole Feeder without it!
Given a little practice and trial and error, you'll soon find a method of use that works best for you. Overall a few quid on the expensive side but what price do you put on a new back, and I bet you your pole cost you in excess of £1k? so why grump!
I remember the first spray bars out there; I'd not use one of those either - I can hold a 16m pole in wind and still catch without any problems; Ask my Back!! I'd put the Claw up there with the most under rated products I've ever come across. Go and watch the video at the www.realideas.eu website. Product currently under review. Used one bag when struggling to catch fish - instantly turned my Peg into a Section Winner. Waiting for Trev at GOT Baits to send me some more to make sure it wasn't a fluke! Honest... I wan't to do some more tests, please....
Can be used to make a liquid, as a ground bait additive or as a dip for meat baits. Look out for Atomic Worms; a real killer in the winter on Canals. The original Atomic Cloud has a high flavour level that acts as a feeding trigger for dormant fish. More to follow......
